Cyver Core’s pentest management portal allows you to streamline and automate manual work around pentest overhead. That means automating reporting, pentest setup, and work management. Here, we use workflows to help you manage work being completed, who’s doing the work, and how long the pentest takes.

For example, with workflows, you can set up custom steps which we call statuses. These can be onboarding, scoping, OSINT, pentesting, etc. Whatever you want. Then, you can add tasks to be performed during that stage of the pentest. Then, you can assign those tasks to either pentest or client teams. You can also assign average duration per stage or step, and then automatically calculate the duration of the pentest for scheduling and booking purposes based on which workflow you use.

Fully Customizable Workflows

Cyver has always used workflows. However, we know that every pentest team works in its own ways. It’s important that you can build workflows that make sense for your team, for the kind of testing you do, and for the types of testers you work with. That’s why we introduced customizable workflows. Here, you can adapt your process to exactly what you need:

  • Add custom workflow stages/steps complete with unique colors, default behavior, default assignees, and colors
  • Add custom tasks per status/step by linking workflow tasks
  • Enable different actions per step, so you can update methodology, assets, assignments, etc., at stages where it’s relevant to do so
  • Link workflow tasks to each project status, so your project status automatically moves forward when tasks are completed.
  • Build as many workflows as you need to support the variety of pentests, redteaming, and other cybersecurity services you deliver.

With customizable workflows you can fully customize the stages of your pentest projects. That means you can build out custom steps, you can split work into as many stages as you want, you can build workflows per pentest type, so you can use different time estimates for booking and scheduling. You can also add more steps for more complicated testing, so you get exactly the workflow you want.

Workflows help you track work, assign work to transparently see what is being done, when, and by whom, to enable automatic booking and scheduling, and to allow easier tracking of workloads. You’ll always see where projects are at, what has to be done next, and who’s in charge. Now, with Cyver Core, you can customize every part of that for workflows and pentest management automation that truly works for your team.
